Reflections from the Journey
Welcome to my blog, “Passion Pain Poetry Providence.” I’m Sophia ‘SoJay’ Jackson, and this space is a reflection of my life’s journey, encompassing the highs and lows that shape who I am. Through Passion, I channel my dedication to promoting mental well-being and inclusivity with Soulful Colour. The Pain I’ve witnessed and experienced fuels my drive to create resources that support emotional regulation and self-expression, especially for young people. Poetry is integral to my life, not only as the author of affirmations found in my colouring books but also as a songwriter, with my album “It’s Time We Officially Meet” available on all streaming platforms. For me, songs are sung poetry, a creative outlet that conveys deep emotions and stories. Providence represents the guidance and purpose behind my work, as I strive to inspire and empower others through creativity and meaningful content. Join me on this journey as we explore the transformative power of passion, pain, poetry, and providence.
Be the Parent You Wish You Had
For many of us, parenting has meant repeating what we experienced because it was what we knew. We may say, “That’s how I was raised, and I turned out okay.”
But okay cannot be the goal.
Our children deserve the opportunity to thrive, not simply learn how to endure.
We are raising children in a different world from the one many of us grew up in during the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. That requires us to grow too. Some traditions deserve to be carried forward. Others deserve to end with us.
Psychological Safety Is Tested on a Global Stage
The focus should not be on debating Tourette’s Syndrome.
The focus should not be on whether the actors should endure and “move on.”
The focus should be on BAFTA’s responsibility.
This was a live event with a delay. A racial slur was allowed to air publicly. That is not a neurological condition. That is a systems failure.

The Origin Story of Soulful Colour Pt. 1
